Why MACC is Expanding

Meeting MACC Members' Needs

One Worship Service - A larger worship center will accommodate our entire congregation at one service time, allowing us to become a church family in which all members connect weekly with each other.

Classrooms to Grow In - Neither our children or our adults have enough classroom space in our current facilities. We have leaders willing to start new classes, but no rooms are available. Classes meet in small spaces or gathering spaces, and in one case, a different building. This is not conducive to learning and growing relationships with Christ.

Sufficient Office Space - Our staff of five currently operates out of only three office spaces. We need to add positions to our team, and they will need offices from which to counsel privately and work effectively.

Adequate Parking Space - A full parking lot on Sunday mornings is great-unless it's overflowing, causing potential church-goers to turn away in frustration.

Meeting Community Needs

Our new facility will have several features that make it an appealing space for people of all ages and demographics, and thus an opportunity for outreach to inactive or non-Christians. Those features include:

  • A free, safe place for kids to gather after school.

  • A space for area businesses to hold meetings.

  • An all-purpose worship center that can be used for community events.

  • A space for community members to walk during unfavorable weather.

  • A café and coffee house with an atmosphere appealing to college students.
