Volunteer Opportunities

Maple Avenue Christian Church has multiple opportunities for you to volunteer your God-given talents and skills to help others. Building From painting to minor repairs, this ministry will allow you to work with a group of individuals who use their skills to keep our building in excellent shape. Although carpentry skills are helpful, we can find a place for you to serve in this ministry at any skill level.
Grounds If you are blessed with the desire to mow, landscape, trim trees, pull weeds, or even scoop snow, our Grounds Ministry is vitally important to keep our grounds in shape all year.
Prayer Ministry If God has placed on your heart a desire to serve in our Prayer Ministry, please let us know. This ministry is instrumental in coordinating our monthly prayer meeting, and its members act as prayer warriors for our ministry.
Worship Ministry From greeting people as they enter MACC Sunday morning, to assisting with communion preparation, to singing or playing on a Sunday-morning worship team, there are a number of opportunities for you to serve in this vital ministry.
Financial teams If you are talented with accounting or have financial skills, you may be interested in being involved with one or more of a number of financial teams, including assisting our treasurer, the financial secretaries, or our go! MACC building fundraising team.
Kids' Ministry Individuals who assist with our Kids' Ministry by providing care in our nursery, teaching in our Sunday School, or helping out with our Junior Worship are so valued. (A background check is required prior to joining this team.)
Chaperones for youth activities Chaperones are vitally important for any trips with which our youth are involved. This could include assisting our Kids' Ministry with trips to area nursing homes or our Youth Groups with trips to the CIY summer conference or Six Flags.
Food Donation Donations to our food pantry are always welcome. If you have been blessed with excess and want to make a donation to this important ministry, it will be put to good use as we give to those in need.
Fellowship Ministry This team puts out donuts and coffee on Sunday mornings and assists with meal preparation different times of the year. New helpers are always welcome!
Toy Sanitization We want MACC to be a safe environment for our young children. Join a team of individuals who work together in sanitizing toys.
Wellness Ministry From taking blood pressure on Sunday mornings to visiting with our shut-ins, individuals in this ministry assist with the health needs of those in our community. Healthcare experience is helpful, but not required.
Office Support If you are talented in the area of clerical work, we welcome you to serve in our church office answering phones, making copies, or folding bulletins.
